Globus Quick-Start Guide

There are currently two different versions of Globus in circulation, and they are sufficiently different to warrant two separate Quick-Start Guides. Those versions are 1.1.3 (and its derivatives like 1.1.4 and the gsiftp-alpha versions), and 2.0. Globus 1.1.3 is still the current version for use with the ICES/KIS Virtual Laboratory and the NIKHEF MicroGrid; Globus-2.0 (EDG beta 21) is the current version on DAS-2, in the EDG test bed and for new deployments of the Virtual Lab. Please select the proper Guide for your installation.
